JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (December 2, 2002) - Winn-Dixie is announcing the launch of Party ONline, a new online ordering service to give customers the gift of time when planning parties during the busy holiday season. From finger sandwiches to full turkey dinners, Party ONline allows customers to order all of their holiday favorites with the click of a button. The Web site also features fresh flowers from FTD, the world's largest floral company.
Through Party ONline, customers can fill virtual shopping carts with their favorite party selections - all at the same low prices offered at Winn-Dixie stores.
"Winn-Dixie wants to make the holidays as easy and convenient as possible for our customers," said Joanne Gage, senior director, consumer and marketing services. "Party ONline is one more way Winn-Dixie offers customers the 'Real Deal,' packaging quality and value in a time-saving service."
Party ONline offers several tray varieties, including:
Bakery trays that offer fresh rolls, cookies, bagels and a gourmet platter with cheesecake, brownies and New York-style eclairs.
Deli platters of deviled eggs, finger sandwiches, chicken and a meat and cheese tray.
Fruit and vegetable trays made with the freshest produce.
Fruit baskets with seven different produce arrangements.
Seafood trays that offer crabmeat medley and Fisherman's Wharf jumbo or seasoned shrimp rings.
Turkey and ham dinners that come in traditional or deluxe sizes. Side dishes include broccoli, rice and cheese casserole, green bean supreme casserole, sweet potato casserole or seasoned mashed potatoes, gravy and cornbread.
