Reyes Holdings, LLC. was founded by Chris and Jude Reyes, together with their father Joseph Reyes when they purchased a small South Carolina beer distribution business in 1976. Through a series of successfully integrated acquisitions and a commitment to reinvesting in the business, the Reyes brothers have grown the Company into an international leader in the food and beverage distribution industries. Reyes Holdings currently ranks 30th on the 2004 Forbes list of privately held companies.
Reyes Holdings remains family owned and operated, currently conducting businesses engaged in the distribution of high quality beer and food products throughout the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, Central America and South America. Reyes Holdings is the largest beer distributor in the United States and the largest distributor to the McDonald’s Corporation restaurant system in the world.
The Company’s market-leading beer distribution business is comprised of four regional operating companies that service the Chicago, Los Angeles/Orange County, Northern Virginia, and District of Columbia markets. The beer distribution businesses currently operate eight separate distribution centers in these markets. Collectively, they represent the largest distributor of SABMiller products in the United States, annually delivering over 16 million SABMiller cases and 39 million cases overall. The beer businesses are also among the top distributors of Coors, Corona, Heineken, Guinness and many other domestic and import brands.
The Company’s subsidiary, The Martin-Brower Company L.L.C., is the largest distributor to the McDonald's Corporation restaurant system in the United States, Canada, and Latin America. Martin-Brower services more than 9,000 McDonald’s restaurants delivering more than 193 million cases annually. In addition to McDonald’s, Martin-Brower services other quick service restaurants and broadline customers. It also operates MBX Logistics, L.L.C., a transportation logistics company. Martin-Brower currently operates 14 distribution centers in the United States, eight centers in Canada, and seven centers in Latin America.
The Company’s subsidiary, CJ Transportation, L.L.C. (“CJT”), is engaged primarily in the acquisition and leasing of transportation equipment used in interstate distribution. CJT leases its equipment and provides fuel services to affiliated companies.
