Reinhart FoodService Signs Contract for CadecÂ’s Mobius TTS
LONDONDERRY, NH - February 28, 2002 - Cadec Corporation, a leading provider of onboard logistics management to the transportation industry, today announced that Reinhart FoodService, one of the nation’s largest broad line distributors, has signed a contract to purchase Cadec’s Mobius TTS™ onboard computer. Based in La Crosse, Wis., Reinhart has already begun installation.
A powerful onboard computer, Mobius TTS utilizes Windows™ CE running on a high powered Intel™ StrongArm™ processor with expandable memory to 320 MB. This power combined with a driver-friendly touch screen offers a modular and expandable design that is easily customizable and allows customers the opportunity to select the most cost-effective and sensible tools to meet specific business needs.
A leading distributor for Subway™ and Burger King™ restaurants, Reinhart operates ten full-service distribution centers serving more than 20,000 customers in a twenty-state area. Reinhart began its search for an onboard computer provider knowing that a robust system with open architecture backed by a highly skilled technical support staff would be a key deciding factor. In addition, Reinhart was looking for a system that would handle the future demands of foodservice regulations and customer demands.
“We met with who we felt were the top three onboard computer vendors in the industry,” stated Dennis Tesnow, corporate director of operations for Reinhart. “We found that Cadec not only had the most robust and open system, but they had the most capable and accessible technical support staff. The company has extremely knowledgeable people that treat their customers with a very hands-on approach.”
“Technical support is just as important as the product itself,” stated Les Dole, president and ceo for Cadec Corporation. “We think the combination of 25 years of trucking expertise and technical savvy gives us the ability to offer a total onboard solution to the industry. We are thrilled to add Reinhart to our growing list of Mobius users.”
