Reinhart FoodService & Reyes Holdings LLC
For 30 years private carrier Reinhart FoodService grew from ground zero to
become the third largest independent broad line distributor in the nation, serving
more than 25,000 customers in a twenty-seven state area with product offerings
of more than 14,000 food and nonfood items. As a privately owned family company,
Reinhart grew to service most of the upper Midwest region of the US.
Until its acquisition in 2004 by Reyes Holdings LLC, Reinhart FoodService maintained
the largest private food distribution network in the Midwest region of the United
States. After joining with Reyes Holdings, Reinhart has continued to operate
as a separate unit, maintaining its warehouses as well as its large fleet of
trucks and delivery vehicles.
Out of twelve full-service distribution centers, Reinhart employs more than
2,000 people dedicated to providing high-quality products and top-notch service.
Executives and employees of Reinhart FoodService are expected to remain in place
throughout the transition to Reyes Holdings. Reinhart is still dedicated to
providing a challenging and rewarding work experience with opportunity for growth,
and now that it is part of an even larger food distribution network the opportunities
for truck drivers are even greater. Driving for a private carrier like Reinhart
and Reyens Holdings offers great opportunity as well as unrivaled stability.
