Private Carrier Performance Food Group Looks for Drivers: Employment Information

Truck Driver 

POSITION OBJECTIVE

Provide timely, courteous and safe transportation of customer orders from the facility to the customer, including unloading products for the customer and picking up returned items.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent in work experience.

EXPERIENCE

Two-years experience driving a tractor and trailer and six months delivery experience.

OTHER RELATED CRITERIA

Current and valid Class "A" Commercial Drivers License (CDL) and acceptable 3 year Motor Vehicle Report.

SCOPE OF POSITION

Interface with Customers, Transportation Manager, and Warehouse personnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The delivery of product to our customers in a timely, safe and courteous manner. Collection of money from customers. Daily pre- and post-trip inspection. Turn in money and paperwork at the end of each day. Keep a record of any product that customers may refuse and turn it in to the Driver Check-In Clerk at the end of each day.
