Richmond, Va. – The Richmond office of CB Richard Ellis recently represented The Ashley Companies in subleasing 50,712 square feet of retail space at Victorian Square Shopping Center from Kroger for a new Ashley Furniture store. CB Richard Ellis agents Rob Black, Robert Brownfield and Chris Doyle  represented Ashley Furniture. “Ashley is one of the few bright concepts in the furniture industry today. They are eclipsing the rest of the competition by out merchandising them,” said Black, Director of Retail Services in CBRE’s Richmond office. “Their on time delivery is second to none and their prices are very low compared to the rest of the industry.” Ashley Furniture will open its second store in Richmond in the subleased space at Victorian Square Shopping Center, located at 10921 Hull St. Ashley’s other Richmond store is located at 6312 W.
