Wayne Farms LLC was recently presented with  the Gordon Food Service VIP Cornerstone Partner award for 2004.

The Vendor Improvement Process (VIP) Cornerstone Partner award is the highest award that Gordon's bestows on their vendors. This is the third VIP award that Wayne Farms has received in the four years that Wayne Farms and GFS have been doing business. The Company was previously honored in 2001 and 2002.

In addition, Wayne Farms has performed at its highest level to date with a performance score of over 98% while growing the business over 31% from the prior year. The award is judged in eight categories (order fill rate, purchase order and invoice matching, on-time delivery, damage and spoilage, customer credits and returns, bar coding of packaging, pallet quality and inventory turns.) The final rating is a compilation of the scores in each category.
